The founders: Karin and Michael
We are a regional start-up from Vienna. Our focus is on sustainable, ideally compostable, products around your loo.
Waste prevention is our top priority in order to protect the environment and your wallet.
Many ideas have arisen from our passion for travel, with the aim of having the usual comfort available everywhere - and of course in an environmentally friendly way.

The SETRENLO® loo has a modern design and fits seamlessly into any environment. You can use it like a conventional toilet and therefore do not have to forego any of the usual comfort.
The conservation of resources is included, as it does not require any water or chemicals.

You also don't need the usual litter, thanks to the effective toilet ventilation.

It quickly became clear to us that only a dry separation toilet would be an option in our ExMo. In 2019, we decided on a common branded product. With the SETRENLO inline toilet ventilation, we have now found a product that has solved the problem of the brand manufacturer's ventilation being too weak. With the vegan activated carbon filter, we have also eliminated the unpleasant smell.
The air outlet cover, due to its shape, ensures optimal air isolation. This works even in strong winds and looks stylish too. For us, this is an innovative solution that we are happy to recommend.

What makes SETRENLO® products so special?The environment and avoiding waste are clearly our top priority. Our products are made from renewable raw materials and are biodegradable, some of them even compostable. Our exhaust air filters and toilet vents can be used for a long time, you only have to change the activated carbon once a year. It's inexpensive and you can do it yourself very easily. Our vegan activated carbon is ideal for this.

How do SETRENLO® products help me save money?Our products are designed to last a long time and you can change the consumables yourself. With the exhaust air filter and the toilet vents, you only need to replace the activated carbon once a year. This is much cheaper than buying a completely new filter every year. You also save money because you can completely avoid using litter by using a toilet vent. This of course also applies to the SETRENLO® toilet.

Why are SETRENLO® products better for the environment?By using renewable raw materials, valuable resources are saved and plastic is avoided. Waste is also reduced because you don't have to throw away the filter and fan every year, you only have to change the activated carbon.

What’s new with the SETRENLO® toilet?The SETRENLO® toilet is a composting toilet, but with a completely newly developed composting insert. It looks like a conventional toilet and is just as easy to use. You don't have to worry at all about whether you're sitting too far forward or too far back. Just sit down and get started, just like at home! Of course, the SETRENLO® toilet is sustainable, it uses no water and does not require any chemical additives. This means that the environment is not unnecessarily burdened.

When will the SETRENLO® toilet be available?Good things take time! SETRENLO® products are developed and tested with extreme care, this is the only way they meet our quality standards. Can I use the SETRENLO® accessories on other toilets?You can use the exhaust air filters, toilet vents and accessories with all composting toilets and even with some chemical toilets. The vegan activated carbon can of course be used universally.

Which renewable raw materials are SETRENLO® products made from?The basis for the renewable raw materials for SETRENLO® products is typically corn starch. The housings are therefore biodegradable according to DIN ISO 14855. The vegan activated carbon is made from coconut shells.

Where are SETRENLO® products manufactured?All of our products are produced, assembled and packaged in Austria. The material from which the products are made also comes from an Austrian producer.
